Village Adoption Program by the Department of Nutrition & Dietetics and Department of English, Bharath College of Science and Management, held on 20.07.2023.

Our college took a step towards sustainable development by adopting a village to uplift its socio-economic conditions. The program addressed the village’s needs through various initiatives such as skill development workshops, awareness campaigns, and infrastructure improvements.

With active participation from faculty, students, and volunteers, we embarked on a transformative journey to positively impact the villagers’ lives. Through collaborative efforts, we aimed to enhance education, healthcare, livelihood opportunities, and environmental conservation.

The event aimed to instill a sense of responsibility and social consciousness among our students, fostering an empathetic approach toward community development. By engaging with the villagers, we gained valuable insights into their challenges, aspirations, and cultural heritage.
