The World Food Day celebration was celebrated on the campus of Bharath College of Science and Management, Thanjavur (Autonomous) by Department of Nutrition and Dietetics. The celebration was emphasised by the Chief Guest, Mrs. Punitha Ganesan, Managing Director and Secretary. Academic Director Dr. T. Veerasamy, Principal Dr. K. Kumar, IQAC Director Mr. M. Sugumar, all delivered congratulatory speeches on the occasion. The department students presented their nutritious food and explained about that food nutrition. So many varieties of dishes are presented in this celebration. Mr. P. Jayaraman, Assistant Professor, Department of Hotel Management judged the presented food and give his valuable comments to students. Finally, Mrs. P. Suba, the department head, gave a vote of gratitude. The event was organised by the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics staff and students.
