REPORT

Village adoption programme on Rally for awareness on women’s rights was conducted by the Department of Information Technology and Department of Mathematics for the academic year 2023-2024. Totally 47 students participated in the program.

Thulukkanpatti is a small Village/hamlet in Thanjavur Block in Thanjavur District of Tamil Nadu State, India. It comes under Inathukanpatti Panchayath. It is located three kilometers away from Bharath College of Science and Management.

The main objective behind this programme was to create awareness on women’s rights The rally was inaugurated by Thulukkanpatti President Mr.C.Sekar. Pluck cards used in the rally highlighted the importance of women’s education and safety. Slogans against infanticide, child marriage and sexual abuse were raised.

The main focus of this program is to live free from violence and discrimination; to enjoy the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health; to be educated; and to earn an equal wage.

 At the end of the event, we thanked our Principal & the Heads of the village who took   part in this programme, Finally, the programme was completed with pleasure.
